People often ask me, “How do you find all these amazing vegan spots?” And honestly? Some of my favorite plant-based meals are hiding in plain sight.

Not every city has fully vegan restaurants—or even dedicated vegan menus—but what many people overlook is how vegan-friendly mainstream restaurants have become. One of my go-to spots for a quick, satisfying, plant-forward meal is Blaze Pizza.

Why Blaze Pizza Works for Vegans

Blaze Pizza is built around a simple concept: customization. You can create your own pizza with unlimited toppings for one price, which makes it one of the easiest places to eat vegan without feeling restricted.

While they do offer chef-created pizzas, I almost always go the build-your-own route—because that’s where the magic happens.

How I Build My Go-To Vegan Pizza

It starts with the crust. Several options are vegan-friendly, but I usually go with the gluten-free crust—it’s thin, slightly crispy, and holds up well under lots of toppings.

  • Ask for a glove change to reduce cross-contamination
  • Request your pizza “well done” for better vegan cheese texture
  • Avoid pesto, cream sauce, and meat-based toppings
  • Customize freely—extra veggies don’t cost extra

Final Thoughts

Yes, prices have gone up over the years—but for the quality, customization, and convenience, Blaze Pizza is still a solid, accessible, plant-forward option.

And that’s the bigger lesson here:
You don’t always need a fully vegan restaurant to eat well.

Sometimes, the best options are already right in front of you—you just need to know how to order.
